Information from different PLC's can be extracted and brought to a Plant Wide monitoring station. Processes that are linked throughout the plant floor can be viewed in a single screen to allow for better control, monitor, and more efficient troubleshooting.
|
A graphical depiction of the plant floor network topology is used as an aid to monitor the entire network from a single location. Selecting a PC icon brings up diagnostics information on the network activity, available memory, resources, etc. Selecting a PLC icon brings up information regarding processor and I/O status. |

Alarm and event conditions from networked PLC's on the plant floor can be logged to a single location. In the example displayed an alarm flag will be displayed at the location of the manufacturing floor where an alarm exists. The user can select that location to view the alarm log file for that area.
