Plant Floor Networking

We specialize in connectivity of plant floor PLC's within themselves and to data collection servers.  Ethernet, DeviceNet, ControlNet, Data Highway Plus, Modbus, and other protocols are utilized depending on the hardware present at the site.

JCA Electron will help you target the areas in your system that are causing downtime, poor product quality, rejects, or rework due to process conditions that are out of control.  JCA Electron will monitor your process and by utilizing advanced statistical tools and methods (SPC, DOE) will help you target the problem areas, and even help you improve productivity.

Part of the system integration challenge is to provide customized documentation packages for each application.  In addition, each customer has his own standards and pre-requisites.  At JCA Electron, we are fully aware of the customer needs and strive to satisfy them.  We work with our customers to provide an end documentation package that will satisfy their needs.  We can use our pre-configured packages, or follow the standards provided.

Our PLC programming engineers have vast experience with different PLC platforms and manufacturers.  We support all major brands of PLCs including Allen-Bradley, TI-Siemens, Mitsubishi, OMRON, PLC Direct, ToyoPUC, and others.

JCA Electron is an approved UL-508 control panel builder.  As such, we must follow UL and NEC regulations for wiring practices and safety.  For you, the customer, this certification ensures that you are receiving a certified, quality product.

As part of our systems integration services, JCA Electron also provides field installation services.  This helps ensure that your turn-key projects are put together from a single source.  Our experiences in the areas of field installation cover power distribution, MCCs, conduit runs, wire and cable pulls, field termination, system and control panel retrofits, etc.
